Verrado Golf Club

The Verrado Golf Club officially took on it’s new name Monday April 14th.

Formerly the Raven at Verrado…

Raven Talk 3-5-14

Raven Golf Club to become The Verrado Golf Club

We are excited to reveal the much anticipated new name for the current Raven Golf Club.  The anticipated rollout of the new Verrado Golf Club is scheduled for April 14, 2014.

Many of you have asked “Why” are we changing from The Raven?  The answer is very simple – We are Verrado.  There is a major commitment that we have always made to being an amenity for Verrado, its residents and the brand awareness in the west valley.  As you have witnessed by the media commitment, we are pushing the Verrado brand and are very excited about the launch of the Victory district.  It only makes sense that we present all of our offerings in a unified message and name.  We will be The Verrado Golf Club located and representative of the quality amenities within the Verrado community.  Additionally, as most of you know there is another Raven Golf Club in the Phoenix market and that relationship’s advantages are far outweighed by what we are doing with the rollout of the Victory District, the second golf course and current marketing and momentum that Verrado is experiencing.

The Verrado Golf Club will encompass the current golf course and eventually will add the second golf course in the Victory district over the coming years.  As many of you know, the first five holes and the driving range are under construction with grassing is scheduled for late this summer.  The Victory course will eventually compliment The Verrado Golf Club making it a 36-hole offering to the community and the Valley of the Sun as a whole.  Expect more information on Victory in the months to come.

During the weeks before the April 14th transition date, you will notice the subtle elimination of the Raven brand and the rollout of the Verrado Golf Club label.   On the morning of the 14th, new merchandise offerings will blanket the golf shop and we will be operating as The Verrado Golf Club inclusive with new logo and overall curb appeal.  There will not be any major changes to restaurant and we will continue to operate as The Verrado Grille located within The Verrado Golf Club.

More information will be distributed in the April 2 edition of The Raven Talk with the latest information.  Please join us in the excitement about our new brand and the quality offerings that The Verrado Golf Club will offer the community for years to come.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

I look forward to seeing you around the Club.

Sun, spring temps: It’s real estate’s peak season

Gremlyn Bradley-Waddell, Special for The Republic|azcentral.com

What’s not to love about an Arizona spring? Blue skies and enjoyable daytime temperatures followed by cool evenings — and for those in the residential real-estate market, the knowledge that peak season has just begun.

Story Highlights

  • It’s important to take time to educate yourself about the local market, real-estate agent Russ Wald says.
  • Tip: Start looking at properties in your price range, in areas where you might want to live, five to six months before you want to make a move.
  • Tip: Up-to-date information on prices likely won’t come from national real-estate databases.
